CABLE
MODEM
A device that permits one-way or two-way high speed data communication
over a cable television system for purposes such as Internet access
at speeds of around 1.5 MBPS. Download rate is 27 Mbps.
CABLE TELEVISION
The system network for the distribution of the television signal
and now digital data by cable (co-axial, twisted pair or fiber optic). |
