We have received
a lot of letters asking us about Internships! The following are
the basic requirements for anyone interested in applying for an
internship at a company. This information was gathered from different
studios that offer internships.
The
applicant has to submit the following:
1. Resume
2. Cover Letter expressing your interests, qualifications, eligibility
for internship credit, and the time period interested or available
3. Demo Reel
4. Demo Reel breakdown
The Internships
usually run for 6 months , the schedule is 20 hrs a week
max during school, and 40 hrs a week max during the summer.
The applicant has to be 18+ years of age and a college
student that can receive college credit. You will have to provide
your own housing if you are from out of town. The internships
are usually non-payed positions for college credit.. but there
are a few studios that pay you to be an intern. You will have
to call and ask the specific studios directly in order to find
out if they are payed or non-payed positions. Most companies have
a disclosure agreement that you will have to sign, and with some
you cannot work or intern at any competing facilities.
The following
is a list of Studios that were researched and DO offer internships,
we have also added a contact name for any inquiries you may have
towards the position. If you know of any studio that is not listed
here and they offer internships.. please email THESCRATCHPOST
so the studio can be added. ( those listings that don't have phone
numbers.. please refer to the main number on the listings page)
as soon as we get more listings.. they will be added. Also, if
you see your company in this list and see incorrect numbers or
contacts, please let us know so we can update it asap for you.
